Connections

On this page you can define IP connections count conditions.

Connections count given from internal NAT table. Connections added to the NAT table only if:

1. One or more of needed IP-based protocols selected on Protocols page and rule packet action is "Allow". "Add data about packet to the NAT table" option can be enabled or disabled;

2. One or more of needed IP-based protocols selected on Protocols page and rule packet action is "None" but "Add data about packet to the NAT table" option must be enabled.

For rules with packet action "Deny" impossible to define this conditions because this rules can't to create connections and connections counters on this rules always equals to 0.

If condition value is 0 - no connections limit applied (equals to "Any").

With this connections conditions you can define connections limit per rule.

"TCP connections count" evaluates to true if TCP connections count for this rule less than defined;
"UDP, ICMP connections count" evaluates to true if UDP, ICMP and any other IP-based (exclude TCP) connections count for this rule less than defined;
"Total (IP-based) connections count" evaluates to true if any IP-based (TCP, UDP, ICMP...) connections count for this rule less than defined.
